AIR creates scalable and transmutable housing in Malakoff

AIR agency (Architectures Engineering Research) signs an ingenious vision and architectural design, guided by an approach anchored in uses of places and contexts. As a result of extensive research work, Stylea, a 33-unit building, offers a new way of living in a short, medium and long term. Over time and as everyone’s needs change, the apartments are easily transformed, going from studios to 5-bedroom duplexes, further promoting intergenerational links.

A project that illustrates the essential reflection of architects on the design of scalable housing in a world where lifestyles are constantly changing.
