💡 #ChangemakersTimes – Chloé Hermary: reinventing learning and diversifying tech with Ada Tech School

While digital professions are under strong pressure and still far from gender-balanced—with less than 20% of women in tech—many talents do not identify with traditional training pathways.

In response, Chloé Hermary founded Ada Tech School in 2019, an inclusive computer science school reinventing training for web and software development careers.

🎓 A learning-by-doing approach, with no grades or exams, built on collaboration, autonomy and peer-to-peer learning. A caring and feminist environment, open to diverse profiles: students changing direction, young professionals or people undergoing career transitions.

Today, Ada Tech School has three campuses (Paris, Nantes and Lyon) and trains nearly 300 learners, with a clear ambition: to make tech accessible to everyone and turn it into a true lever for empowerment.

“Showing that tech is accessible to everyone, and that it is a real career lever to take one’s place in the future,” — Chloé Hermary.

💻 Beyond coding, Ada Tech School carries a strong social mission: reducing the digital divide, diversifying tech profiles and promoting a more inclusive and responsible digital world.

⚡ Citizen energy: an investment model proving its strength

In 2025, Énergie Partagée announced an increase in the value of its share for the third consecutive year. It is now set at €129, along with a gross dividend of €1.20 per share—a momentum reflecting the growing maturity of the financed projects.

Since 2010, Énergie Partagée Investissement has collected citizen savings to support more than 190 locally governed renewable energy projects (wind, solar, hydro and renewable heat). Once operational, they will supply the equivalent of electricity for over 800,000 people.

Projects are selected according to demanding criteria —citizen governance, local authority involvement, ecological consistency, technical feasibility and financial robustness— which have been identified by Énergie Partagée Label as a guarantee of transparency and territorial impact.

Erwan Boumard, CEO of Énergie Partagée, points out:
“This momentum shows that citizen investment can reconcile value creation with social and territorial benefits”.

Hotels and climate change: the challenge of financing renovation works

Gathered for a keynote session organised by EXTENDAM, Bpifrance and MKG, operators, investors and bankers shared a common assessment: climate issues are profoundly reshaping the financing conditions of the hotel sector.

With rising energy and water costs, increased exposure to physical risks (heatwaves, floods, droughts), and stricter environmental requirements, the ecological transition is becoming a central parameter in business models and investment decisions.

From an investor’s perspective, ESG criteria are now integrated from the very first stage of project analysis. In partnership with Fairmoove Solutions, EXTENDAM has developed an environmental assessment tool for hotels, combined with a plan to constantly improve ESG performances, with incentive or penalty mechanisms depending on achieved targets.

As Maxime Durand, Managing Partner at EXTENDAM, notes:
“It’s not always popular, but it’s effective in driving change in practices.”

➡️ A shift confirming that climate resilience is now a key lever of value and access to financing in the hotel industry.

Neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington’s remain incurable, leaving patients and families without treatment or hope.

Dr. Laure Jamot and Professor Frédéric Saudou founded HuntX Pharma in December 2022 to  address the root cause: defects in axonal transport, a key mechanism for neuronal communication.

The biotech is developing HX127, a molecule capable of restoring axonal transport—without relying on gene therapy.

👉 Already supported by a €1.7M seed round and winner of the I-Nov competition (France 2030) with an additional €2M, the startup is now preparing its first clinical trials.
