The project involves a six-story complex on André Morizet Avenue. Its aim is to transform what was once a hotel, then an office building, into a 3-star upscale residence with 41 serviced apartments.

Raphael Madar, CEO of Groupe WS, explains: “This project responds to an entirely new demand: that of workers who have moved to the provinces and are seeking a regular foothold in Île-de-France, which is more personal than a traditional hotel“.

Other similar projects, co-signed by EXTENDAM and Groupe WS, are expected to emerge soon. John Hewitt, real estate manager at EXTENDAM, says: “We are looking at a number of cases. Our strategy of transforming old hotel assets or obsolete office buildings is more relevant than ever. The idea is to expand this offering not only in Île-de-France but also in other regions“.

Reusable and sustainable everyday products? It’s possible with INGA! To address the significant number of disposable products and everyday items discarded each year in France, Benjamin Bir, Marion Guy, and Christophe Terrin had an idea. That idea is INGA, a brand that aims to inspire everyone to transition from disposable to sustainable by offering reusable household paper and items (such as paper towels, sponges, makeup remover pads, etc.).

INGA offers affordable products made from recyclable, recycled, and/or organic materials designed to last a long time with the same effectiveness, in order to convince consumers to make the switch.

Launched in 2019, this challenge among middle schools and high schools has already engaged nearly 300,000 students from over 900 educational institutions in using their imagination to save energy. This competition brings together students, teachers, and technicians around the same issue: how to adjust their behaviors to consume less. A partnership between local government and the National Education system is also formed during the competition to support each team in their quest for savings.

Owned by the investor duo EXTENDAM / VICARTEM, the Marty Hotel Bordeaux – Tapestry Collection by Hilton, operated by the hotel management company Younight Hospitality, is now open to the public.

Located at 153, rue Georges-Bonnac in Bordeaux, this new urban lifestyle destination features a large bar adorned with a cascade of chandeliers. The decor of this true centerpiece in the heart of the hotel’s lobby combines classic writing woodwork with industrial steel and concrete elements, punctuated by vibrant colors, vintage furniture, and fabrics with diverse textures.

In the heart of the 12th borough of Paris, adjacent to the Sorbonne Nouvelle, the former headquarters of the National Forestry Office (ONF) established in 1976 is undergoing a transformation. A heritage to preserve and enhance, this iconic building in the neighborhood is being revitalized by Maud Caubet Architects. This project, named Racine, interacts with the existing elements and presents a new landmark in the area.

The building retains its distinctive appearance with a preserved and enhanced façade. Its basement is transformed into a courtyard. The roof, on the other hand, will be entirely redesigned, crowned with a greenhouse-like structure, resembling a suspended winter garden reaching towards the sky.

As a property of EXTENDAM / VICARTEM investor duo under Hilton franchise, this new urban living space will be operated by hotel management company Younight Hospitality. Imagined as an inspiring arty lively place, the hotel will provide 61 rooms and lobbies matching an industrial ambiance with a classic and creative one. Its name: MARTY, derives from the combination of the “M” from Meriadeck district and the “arty” concept, emphasizing the central role of art within the establishment. It’s a true incubator, halfway between an art gallery and a living space.

Last Friday, Nathalie Lederman, CUBE.S program coordinator, answered Virginie Guilhaume and Loïc Landrau’s questions on the set of SQOOL TV network’s Grand JT de l’Éducation! Organized jointly since 2019 by IFPEB and Cerema, CUBE.S is a competition awarding institutions minimizing their energy consumption. With adapted assistance, the challenge helps raising awareness and having facility users getting involved: teachers, students, administration staff and service managers, and communities.

Initiatives carried out, each more creative than the last, allow committed institutions to reach an average of 11% in energy savings, without major investment, from the first year of the challenge!

With the acquisition of a 770 m² office building André Morizet Avenue in Boulogne-Billancourt, EXTENDAM begins an urban reconversion operation with Groupe WS’ brand Work & Sleep. Under this operation, the building will provide 41 apartments with hotel services in 2024. The apartments, equipped with automation prerequisite and a kitchenette, will offer multiple associated services (housecleaning, laundry, breakfast, security…) and numerous service provisions. This operation is a prime example of the city’s adjustment to changing practices!
