On RTL, France Commits with Énergie Partagée

A few days ago, the RTL show La France s’engage dedicated an episode to citizen initiatives in renewable energy. Marc Mossalgue, spokesperson for Énergie Partagée, described the foundations of the citizen energy movement and how these projects operate.

Énergie Partagée empowers citizens to invest in renewable energy projects (wind, solar, geothermal, etc.). As shareholders, citizens fund and own these projects, generating local benefits and creating jobs.

It’s a great opportunity to understand how everyone can become an agent of change for a sustainable energy future!

Crisis and Transition: Shifting Paradigms for a Sustainable Future

A crisis is a transitional period that necessitates a paradigms’ shift: “Current imperatives, particularly those related to material shortages and the challenges of the climate crisis, compel us to finally make necessary decisions” emphasized Maud Caubet in BIG Magazine earlier this year. Indeed, while Covid has prompted a pause for reflection, it has also set a course of action: how to utilize what’s already present, reinvigorate the artisanal sector and promote the use of bio-sourced materials?

These insights can be found in the November issue of BIG – Business Immo Global.

[BONI.D] JADE association provides resources for young caregivers!

42.5% of teenagers have a close relative affected by illness or disability. Many of them become young caregivers, meaning a child or teenager under 18 who regularly provides significant assistance to a sick family member, someone with a disability and/or facing a loss of autonomy. This is a genuine public health issue.

To help them navigate their reality, JADE association offers resources for caregivers and their families, allowing them to take a break, connect with other young individuals, express themselves about their situation and feel supported. Thus, JADE organizes workshops, interregional trips, raises awareness, and provides a space for expression and/or training for these young caregivers.

It’s a solidary and necessary initiative that Les Grandes Idées congratulates!

🌍 A new citizen solar powerplant was inaugurated in Centre Val de Loire! Located on a former waste disposal site, the photovoltaic park in Saint-Benoît-la-Forêt was inaugurated last month!

The development of this ground-mounted solar plant was carried out under the initiative of a collective of citizens, gathered within the association Energies Renouvelables et Citoyennes en Rabelaisie. The association took over the construction permit for the park after the initial developer abandoned the project. Supported by CVE Energy and Shared Energy, the project is one of the largest citizen solar power plants in France, bringing together 5,400 solar panels that will produce an average of 3,090 MWh each year.
