A positive back-to-school season for the hotel industry, according to EXTENDAM barometer!

Following a bright summer, the hotel markets have fully stabilized with a dynamic back-to-school season marked by an increase in RevPAR and consistently strong activity levels in September.

 

In Paris region, the month closed with an occupancy rate of 78% compared to 80% in 2022. In regional areas, the occupancy rate stands at 75% (+1% compared to September 2022). The activity of regional metropolises is being boosted by the Rugby World Cup: Saint-Étienne sees a 7-point increase in occupancy, while Lille and Lyon have increased by 3 points compared to the previous year. In line with this trend, the European occupancy rate reaches 79%, marking a 2-point increase compared to 2022.

 

This barometer was conducted by EXTENDAM and its partners MKG Consulting, Groupe SNCF, D-EDGE Hospitality Solutions, E-AXESS, CDS Groupe, Flightradar24, Deutsche Bank, and BNP Paribas Real Estate.

Maud Caubet Architects breathes new life into a former hospice in Levallois-Perret

Known as Le Château, the iconic building, located between the streets of Barbès, Chaptal, Villiers and Voltaire in Levallois-Perret,  is getting a breath of fresh air thanks to Maud Caubet Architects.

 

This former hospice, dating back to 1877, will undergo a complete restructuring to meet thermal and accessibility requirements and adapt to new urban uses. Its majestic facade will regain its former splendor, and the outdoor spaces will be transformed into lush green areas.

 

Maud Caubet Architects’ design work is part of a comprehensive urban approach that bridges the gap between a meaningful heritage and future uses deeply rooted in the city of tomorrow.

Kick-off of the partnership between EXTENDAM and OKKO HOTELS!

EXTENDAM, La Banque des Territoires, and OKKO HOTELS have acquired a future hotel in Troyes, sold in the off-plan sale (VEFA) by VINCI Immobilier. Together, they are bringing to life a project consisting of 106 rooms in a neighborhood undergoing revitalization. The establishment, covering an area of 3,500 square meters, will be Breeam certified, emphasizing sustainable environmental practices throughout its construction and operation.

The largest citizen solar farm of Paris region inaugurated in Etréchy!

On Saturday, October 7th, a solar power farm with over 8,000 photovoltaic panels was inaugurated in Essonne. This impressive solar plant is a joint effort by the Entre Juine et Renarde community of municipalities, the mixed economy company Sipenr, and the Energie partagée network. This project became possible through the citizen savings mobilized by Energie Partagée Investissement.

The solar farm will produce 5.1 GWh of electricity in a full year, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 1,000 households, including heating.
