While the summer performance of the French hotel industry was very satisfactory, the sector continued this momentum in September, according to the EXTENDAM barometer.
In this new school year, France is posting a sharp increase in RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room): it has now reached € 94, i.e. +12 % compared to 2019 references.
Despite the very slight decline in the occupancy rate, the industry was stimulated by the presence of international tourists and a dynamic corporate segment in Paris with a rate reaching 83 % compared to 69 % the previous month in Île-de-France.
In terms of regions, the month of September ended with an occupancy rate of 74 %, an increase of +1 point compared to August.
