French people are in favor of setting up constraints to measure the commitment of companies!

According to a Harris Interactive / Mouvement Impact France survey, 42% of respondents consider the commitment of companies “superficial”. They criticize them for acting through actions that are not very engaging, inexpensive and do not last over time.

To counter this, they are 87% in favor of the creation of a “synthetic index to rate the social and environmental commitment of French companies”. A large majority is in favor of constraints, because they believe that “companies are not capable of forcing themselves to adopt virtuous behavior on their own and need the injunction of the public authorities”.
