For its 3rd session, La Fabrique du Tourisme is once again setting the course for the challenges of ecological and social transition for tourism stakeholders. Professionals, CSR and tourism experts, students from ESSEC’s MSc in Hospitality Management (IMHI), worked together again a few months ago to mark the new stages in the transition of the hospitality sector. Brune Poirson, director of sustainable development for the Accor group, is the sponsor of this 3rd edition.
Entitled Sustainable Tourism and CSR, this report offers solutions to accelerate the transition towards resilient, responsible and inclusive tourism. New models emerging in the sector, data, practical sheets and advice, the 3rd report of La Fabrique du Tourisme outlines the tourism today and tomorrow.

Born in China, Jean Guo grew up in the United States. As a child, she noticed the barriers that people with an immigrant background faced, especially when they did not speak the language of the host country and deplored the poor possibilities of building a professional network.
In 2015, when she moved to France after obtaining the Fullbright grant, Jean Guo studied the economic and health difficulties of marginalized populations as a researcher at Paris School of Economics. She very quickly wondered how she could immediately help these people. In 2016, she co-founded Konexio with the aim of making digital accessible to all. The structure thus offers training in digital skills – from the most basic to the most advanced – to promote socio-professional integration.

Organized on March 10th at the Friche de la Belle de Mai in Marseille, the Universités de l’Economie de Demain provided an opportunity to identify five proposals to help companies make their ecological transition.
Among them, more advantageous taxation for companies that respect the environment or even a support system for young companies in ecological innovation. As such, the Mouvement Impact France supports the model of the “mission-based” company which seeks, beyond simple profitability, to make a positive contribution to society.
So many proposals to be found in the Manifesto of the economy of tomorrow.
