CUBE.S challenge to be featured on TV!

Last Friday, Nathalie Lederman, CUBE.S program coordinator, answered Virginie Guilhaume and Loïc Landrau’s questions on the set of SQOOL TV network’s Grand JT de l’Éducation! Organized jointly since 2019 by IFPEB and Cerema, CUBE.S is a competition awarding institutions minimizing their energy consumption. With adapted assistance, the challenge helps raising awareness and having facility users getting involved: teachers, students, administration staff and service managers, and communities.

 

Initiatives carried out, each more creative than the last, allow committed institutions to reach an average of 11% in energy savings, without major investment, from the first year of the challenge!

EXTENDAM turns old business district into apart-hotel in Boulogne-Billancourt

With the acquisition of a 770 m² office building André Morizet Avenue in Boulogne-Billancourt, EXTENDAM begins an urban reconversion operation with Groupe WS’ brand Work & Sleep. Under this operation, the building will provide 41 apartments with hotel services in 2024. The apartments, equipped with automation prerequisite and a kitchenette, will offer multiple associated services (housecleaning, laundry, breakfast, security…) and numerous service provisions. This operation is a prime example of the city’s adjustment to changing practices!

[Changemakers Time] Facilitate and accelerate first aid gestures’ learning with D’Un Seul Geste

In France, only 5% of people with cardiac arrest survive, compared to 40% in Norway. In France, only 20% of the population is trained in first aid, while this figure reaches 90% in the Nordic countries. Facing this facts, Emmanuel Bourcet founded D’un Seul Geste with Ludovic Fagot, computer engineer, Nicolas Guerchet, firefighter and first aid trainer for 20 years, and Bernard Périco, former commander of Paris Fire Brigade.

 

The company thus wishes to facilitate and accelerate training thanks to a virtual reality solution allowing one-hour training sessions in first aid and life-saving gestures’ development.
