Maud Caubet spoke yesterday at the seminar “Long Live Housing!: Transforming the existing in line with climate challenges” organized by the CAUEs of Île-de-France and the DRAC Île-de-France, on the occasion of the presentation of the work of the CAUE Observatory of Île-de-France.
This day of exchanges and sharing of experiences made it possible to address two very important subjects: rehabilitation and housing quality for all. A great opportunity for Maud Caubet Architects to present, alongside Iain Hutton, the ongoing work she’s leadinf on the site of the Château de Levallois-Perret: the restructuring of a maternity hospital into a building of housing units near a historical monument, the Hospice Richard Wallace

As ALTEV’s arrival within the REDMAN Group was announced, Julie Le Bolzer painted the portrait of Nicolas Ponson, co-founder of REDMAN, a low-carbon developer, a mission-driven company, certified as BCorp. Since 2007, Nicolas Ponson and his partner Matthias Navarro have shaped REDMAN into a force for change, with a clear vision: the development of low-carbon urban projects with a strong transformational lever.
His recent activity demonstrates REDMAN’s commitment this year to further strengthen its dedication to rehabilitation rather than construction for a future with low environmental impact and high social impact, which the group intends to develop with its peers. “Everyone needs it, but no company can do it alone… especially if it doesn’t dare,” emphasizes Nicolas Ponson.

While office and residential assets are going through turbulent times, the hotel real estate sector is holding steady and not only in anticipation of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Several long-term trends are indeed driving this sector: the lack of short and long-term accommodations, the strategic role of hotels open to their neighbourhoods in revitalizing city centers, and the permanent establishment of telecommuting leading to an increasing demand for hybrid forms of rental housing, as stated by Jean-Marc Palhon, Chairman of EXTENDAM, to Laurence Boccara for Les Echos Week-End.
