La Fabrique du Tourisme was created during the first French lockdown in spring 2020 by Bpifrance, EXTENDAM, and MKG Consulting. Its aim: to use this pause in tourism to co-create, share, and propose real actions for the tourism of tomorrow.
While activity has resumed, La Fabrique du Tourisme remains a think tank and idea incubator, bringing together professionals, experts, and students to help the hospitality and tourism sector adapt to changing demands.
For Capital Immo, Jean-Marc Palhon, Chairman of EXTENDAM, discusses the company’s core values, its development, and major investment opportunities in the budget and midscale hotel segment in Europe.
This interview provides valuable perspectives on key market fundamentals and the evolution of the hotel industry—essential viewing for any serious investor.

The photovoltaic park of Bissey-sous-Cruchaud, in Saône-et-Loire, is evolving with the entry of SEM Saône-et-Loire Energies Renouvelables and the Sud Côte Chalonnaise Community of Municipalities into its shareholding. Developed by CVE and supported by Énergie Partagée since 2018, this project is a fine example of local collaboration for renewable energy.
Thanks to shared governance and citizen involvement, Énergie Partagée has sold part of its shares to allow local actors to play a stronger role in the energy transition. A virtuous model empowering territories in green electricity production and boosting energy independence. 🌍🔋
📊 Key figures:
🔸 5.5 MWp installed capacity
🔸 6.45 GWh produced annually—enough for nearly 3,000 residents
🔸 30-year power purchase agreement with Enercoop
This project shows how citizen and local investment can accelerate the energy transition and strengthen regional energy autonomy.
