In partnership with its operating partner DG INVEST, EXTENDAM has added the Blue Sea Calas Marina Hotel in Benidorm, located in the province of Alicante, Spain, to its portfolio. As the owner of the property and business since June, the group plans to renovate the establishment and operate it under the ibis Styles brand.
The hotel is expected to reopen its doors in early 2025, with an additional 16 rooms. The 6,607-square-meter complex will feature a total of 134 refurbished rooms and a range of amenities, including a swimming pool, seminar rooms and game rooms.

The former Little Palace has undergone a transformation to emerge as a 4-star hotel that combines the spirit of a guesthouse with that of a Parisian hotel. The refurbishment of the premises by EXTENDAM and the VICARTEM group, through its subsidiary Younight Hospitality, has elevated this new establishment, creating an environment conducive to imagination and relaxation.
Its name Solly refers to Salomon de Caus, a great traveler, engineer and architect, who has infused the entire establishment with a curious, creative and globally-minded spirit. The Solly restores the true meaning of hospitality, caring for the little things that make a big difference. The hotel is a true life facilitator, where time seems to stand still.
The Solly features 51 rooms spread across 4 categories (cozy, comfort, junior suite, suite) with orientations towards an interior courtyard or square. Some rooms have a furnished balcony and views of La Gaîté Lyrique and the rooftops of Paris.

DesCodeuses is the story of Souad Boutegrabet, a woman from underprivileged neighborhoods, passionate about computer science. Due to the need for quick job integration and family financial responsibilities, she did not pursue a career in the digital field.
In 2017, Souad decided to create DesCodeuses, aiming to empower women from Priority Urban Zones (QPV) to seize opportunities in the digital sector, which initially appears unwelcoming to women. In fact, women make up less than 30% of technical professions, and a completely overlooked issue exists: the absence of women from priority neighborhoods, both urban and rural. To address this social problem, DesCodeuses developed a tailored program specifically targeting women from these neighborhoods, considering peripheral obstacles to accessing technical training and jobs. Through DesCodeuses, companies commit to bringing more diversity to their technical teams, adding value to their business.
DesCodeuses work to ensure that social background and gender are not obstacles to women’s ambitions. An initiative that is close to our hearts at Les Grandes Idées.
