Dated from 1860, the former Cartier-Bresson spinning factory was abandoned for decades. Its refurbishment was expected by the inhabitants to open up the district. The building is now experiencing a new life thanks to Maud Caubet Architects and has become a cultural and childcare center.
For this renovation, Maud Caubet decided to do with the existing building and kept five of the seven workshops, in order to preserve the structure as much as possible. Large bay windows allow natural light to penetrate the building, creating a dialogue between the interior of the Sheds and the surrounding nature of the Diderot park.

Reflecting its strong dynamism in investment, the private equity company closed the year with the signing of a 300th hotel in its portfolio. The future 260-room ibis Styles will take place in Valdebebas, a district known for its Isabel Zendal hospital, Real Madrid training center, IFEMA Exhibition and Congress Center and its residential area of La Solana. In full development, the urban area should also host very soon the new courthouse, 36,000 sqm of offices, a 145,000 sqm shopping center and an extension of the IFEMA. Finally, the district enjoys vast natural areas such as the Felipe VI Park, one of the green lungs of the capital, which extends over more than 400 hectares.
AGP Hotels, partner and co-investor in the operation, will operate this new establishment. The group already has ten franchised hotels in France and Spain to its credit.

Aware of the difficulty to access to employement encountered by 2.8 million French people with disabilities of working age, Robin Sicsic founded Handineo in 2020. Handineo allows HR, managers and disability managers to assess the practices of their organization in terms of disability inclusion, to create a personalized action plan, to measure and manage progress in relation to the objectives agreed upon for the year. All of this is possible thanks to a support program consisting of a steering platform and an adviser, intended to support people in charge of disability inclusion at work!
The platform also brings together a community of engaged employers who can take part in peer-to-peer learning sessions or share ideas and resources to advance inclusion through digital collective intelligence spaces.
