The project is part of a large-scale urban redevelopment initiative led by VINCI Immobilier, with support from Banque des Territoires, EXTENDAM and OKKO HOTELS.
In Lunel, Hérault, Eio transforms plastic waste from French rivers into timelessly designed sunglasses. Founded by Quentin Passet, Eio collects plastic waste from waterways and recycles it into frames. Each pair is made of 100% recycled plastic, with 10% coming directly from collected waste.
From waste transformation to final assembly, all production steps take place in France. The lenses come from Jura region, cases from Doubs region and pouches from Indre, Perpignan or Drôme areas.
By turning plastic waste into value and promoting local production, Eio contributes to environmental protection and the development of the circular economy.
