“For companies, sobriety means to do better with less, which means to be efficient and to do a maximum with a minimum of resources. It means to answer existing needs instead of creating new ones”. Caroline Neyron, CEO of Mouvement Impact France, was the guest of Lorraine Goumot on BFM avec vous to talk about sobriety and give a definition of this important word whereas a study realized by IFOP for Mouvement Impact France and Societer/Teneo pulls out 1 French citizen on 10 don’t know what sobriety concretely means.

Questioned at the Universités d’Eté de l’Economie de Demain which took place at Cité internationale universitaire of Paris, Jean Moreau came back on what really mean sobriety, the theme of the 4th edition of this event for committed economy. The co-chairman of Mouvement Impact France analyzes change already occurring and the rest of the path to a new and more sustainable production and consumption approach.

In a column published in La Tribune, the Mouvement Impact France, health professionnals and a dozen of company leaders stress on the need to use sobriety to improve health services. By integrating in their way of life new ways to move, to feed, to work and then to consume our well-being can be improved. For that, we cannot rethink our collective habits by individual actions. Public power, associations and mutualists must collectively propose a new model, aligned with social, health and environmental issues we are facing.
