Ten years after Hamon Law, the social and solidarity economy continues to represent 10% of employment in PACA region, with over 173,000 employees across nearly 12,000 structures. Recognized for its positive impact, this economy is gradually transforming our economic landscape thanks to committed entrepreneurs.
Among these structures, ESSENTIEL embodies this dynamic. Based in Marseille, this mission-driven company, led by Remy Lagarrigue, is revolutionizing the real estate sector by reviving urban sites with a strong ecological and social impact. Through its projects, ESSENTIEL proves that economic success and social commitment can go hand in hand. As Remy Lagarrigue points out, “Success can match with SSE, nor with the broader impact economy“.
Initiatives such as La Varappe or Les Canaux demonstrate that SSE is a key player in major territorial and national projects, such as Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Despite challenges such as the scarcity of qualified profiles or funding difficulties, SSE entrepreneurs continue to innovate and pave the way for a more sustainable and inclusive future.
