Architect by training, Marius Hamelot is determined to take action to face environmental issues. With two classmates from the National School of Architecture of Versailles, he invented Le Pavé®, the first material made from plastic waste recovered from nature and oceans.

The Mouvement Impact France, a French network of entrepreneurs and managers gathered around ecological and social transformation, allies with the Collectives, a federation bringing together thirty employee groups committed to the ecological transition. Four years ago, EXTENDAM invested alongside Joris Bruneel in an unranked Hipotel in Belleville. After transforming the establishment into a 3-star hotel with 31 rooms and a restaurant with 70 seats, the Hotel Babel opened its doors four years later in Belleville.
Attractive and unique, this hotel, which actively contributes to the life of a rapidly changing Parisian district, traces the lines of a new hotel industry that is attentive to social and environmental realities.
