As ALTEV’s arrival within the REDMAN Group was announced, Julie Le Bolzer painted the portrait of Nicolas Ponson, co-founder of REDMAN, a low-carbon developer, a mission-driven company, certified as BCorp. Since 2007, Nicolas Ponson and his partner Matthias Navarro have shaped REDMAN into a force for change, with a clear vision: the development of low-carbon urban projects with a strong transformational lever.

His recent activity demonstrates REDMAN’s commitment this year to further strengthen its dedication to rehabilitation rather than construction for a future with low environmental impact and high social impact, which the group intends to develop with its peers. “Everyone needs it, but no company can do it alone… especially if it doesn’t dare,” emphasizes Nicolas Ponson.

While office and residential assets are going through turbulent times, the hotel real estate sector is holding steady and not only in anticipation of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The Redman Group is adding Altev’s real estate expertise to accelerate real estate rehabilitation and urban regeneration. Founded five years ago by Adrien Long and Anne-Laure Camilotto, Altev has developed more than fifteen rehabilitation and/or conversion operations for housing, offices, hotels, or managed residences. REDMAN thus confirms the strategic priority given by the group to intensify its activity towards asset conversion, expanding the scope of its interventions both in terms of building size and location, and establishing itself as a key player in this market.

“Given the climate emergency and the imperatives of environmental transition, urban regeneration emerges as a major challenge for the real estate sector,” emphasizes Matthias Navarro, co-founder of Redman.
