Hotels: a reassuring stability suggesting a post-vaccination recovery

In February, the French hotel industry once again confirmed its status as European leader, largely outperforming its neighbours with an occupancy rate of 34%. The stability of the hotel sector and the French people’s desire to travel mean that there is still hope for a recovery in the medium term despite the current tensions.
“Although the level of activity in the hotel sector is still very low, it is comforting to see that the indicators are not decreasing. Even more encouraging is the fact that the stock market, which normally predicts trends over a 12 to 18 month horizon, has been very dynamic in the hotel segment for the past few months,” says Vianney Lautrous.

By calling on the citizens’ solidarity, the two associations are rallying their entire network of restaurant owners, chefs and volunteers to provide quality meal baskets to the most destitute students.
Their objective: cook at least 500 meals per week until the end of the university year.
Thanks to donations, 13 weeks have already been financed!

Composed of two car lanes, a reserved bus lane and a pedestrian link, up to 8,000 pedestrians are expected during peak hours. With a length of 300 metres, it will shelter several facilities including a “bridge building” which will host offices and services.

Nouvelle Vague or Maud Caubet’s sincerity in Le Journal du Grand Paris

It is essential to conceive a programme for the quality of use offered to those who will live and experience the proposed architecture. The architectural gesture without the quality of life and use is pointless. This everyday comfort is largely due to the care taken to design outdoor spaces for each of the inhabitants, whatever form they may have” – Maud Caubet
