Archistorm talks about Origine

In Nanterre, the Origine program stands proudly on the edge of “Les Terrasses” district. Big winner of the Icade competition in 2015, it faithfully represents the will of the “outsider” association represented by Maud Caubet Architects and Quadri Fiore Architecture to propose a contextualized architecture, to meet the environmental social challenges, an architecture that is part of the daily lives of users and passers-by as it appeals to the senses and common sense.

This beautiful project was also told in a book by Annabelle Ledoux published by Bookstorming – Archistorm.

We do not know this yet, but sobriety will help us living with a better health

In a column published in La Tribune, the Mouvement Impact France, health professionnals and a dozen of company leaders stress on the need to use sobriety to improve health services. By integrating in their way of life new ways to move, to feed, to work and then to consume our well-being can be improved. For that, we cannot rethink our collective habits by individual actions. Public power, associations and mutualists must collectively propose a new model, aligned with social, health and environmental issues we are facing.

[BONI.D] Houbly, sustainable furnitures for a responsible interior

To take part in the fight against climate change, Auriane Lefebvre and Manon Baste are joining forces to create Houbly in 2020! It is a company that recycles biowaste and plant waste to make sustainable, recyclable and compostable agromaterials.

Auriane and Manon have identified two plant waste sources that are not yet recovered in Île-de-France: spent grains from breweries, waste from beer production and cocoa pods from beans roasting. They then use this waste as a raw material to manufacture new materials which, at the end of their life, can be returned to the earth in the form of compost contributing to soil regeneration.

This also promotes less polluted air in our homes. A great project that Les Grandes Idées salutes!
